Instructions

 

1) Adjust the measurement value and set the maximum tracking value. Adjust the support block span as needed.

2) Adjust the probe position, ensuring it extends 2mm-3mm beyond the three support pins.

3) Gently place the probe against the glass surface, ensuring all three support pins are in contact with the glass.

4) Slide the measurement position and read the data.

 

Features

 

High-Strength Structure
The frame of the impact resistance glass testing equipment is welded from Q235 carbon steel and spray-coated with a plastic-sprayed finish. It boasts an impact strength of up to 350 MPa and resists deformation over long periods of use.

High Wear Resistance
Key components, such as the impact guide rail, are constructed from Cr12MoV alloy steel. After heat treatment, the hardness reaches HRC58, extending the wear life by three times that of ordinary materials.

 

High-Quality Shock Absorption System
The bottom is equipped with rubber shock-absorbing pads and a 15mm wide, 3mm thick rubber gasket to effectively absorb impact energy and reduce equipment vibration.

 

Easy Operation
The touch-sensitive interface allows for one-touch lifting and releasing, with automatic data recording. Each operation takes just 10 seconds.

 

Safety Design
The impact resistance glass testing equipment is equipped with a transparent explosion-proof protective cover and an emergency stop system to ensure operator safety.

 

Sample

 

1) Test three test specimens measuring 300mm x 300mm, fabricated using the same method as the impact test specimens and of similar thickness.

2) These test specimens may be cut from production samples of the same size and thickness as those submitted for impact testing.

3) For heat-tempered or tempered laminated glass, the test specimens may be cut from a similar sheet of annealed laminated glass.

 

Program

 

● Immerse the sample edge-on in a water bath at 66°C ± 3°C for 3 minutes.

● Quickly transfer the sample to a water bath maintained at boiling point.

● Immerse the sample edge-on in a water bath at 66°C ± 3°C for 2 hours.

● Remove the sample and inspect for bubbles and other defects.
