What is a latex pillow? What is a memory pillow?

Latex is latex, and memory foam is memory foam.
The two are different. One is a high rebound, and the other is a slow rebound. Memory foam was once intended to imitate the effect of latex, but it rebounded "slowly" for more than one beat, so the term "slow rebound" came into being. However, it is ultimately just "imitating others," which misled the vast number of consumers who do not know the truth.
1) Latex is a natural material from rubber trees. It is not only breathable and hygroscopic but also natural and environmentally friendly, pollution-free, non-toxic, anti-mite, anti-bacterial, and anti-allergic. It is also a "natural antibacterial and anti-mite" super baby.
2) The sponge of the memory pillow is a high-tech product, which belongs to a non-natural substance. Its chemical composition is polyurethane (containing certain toxicity and flammability). It is a kind of sponge family. Its scientific name is inert sponge. Other names include: slow rebound sponge, memory sponge, zero pressure sponge, space memory sponge, smart sponge, etc. Among them, the American space memory foam pillow was once popular in China, with a price of more than 2,000 yuan. Many of my customers have this kind of pillow at home. Memory Foam, its main component is polyurethane foam plastic. A slow rebound pillow, also known as a slow rebound pillow, is a pillow made of slow rebound material. Its function is not to increase people's memory, but because the pillow used frequently will form the inherent shape of the head and neck. Most memory pillows are slow rebound pillows.
Memory foam has a characteristic. Unlike the above-mentioned "sponge", memory foam contains temperature memory particles. When it comes into contact with the human body, it will generate temperature induction and form a concave and convex surface that completely conforms to the body shape. Just like the "plasticine" that children play with, when a curved object is pressed on it, the plasticine will always keep it in a curved state; when a straight object is pressed on it, the plasticine will always keep it in a straight state.
It has the function of "retaining" the concave and convex shape of the human body, but it cannot "correct" the "queue" deformity of the cervical vertebrae, so the memory foam pillow is worse than the general foam pillow. Because the "cervical curve" of cervical patients generally becomes straight, after sleeping on this kind of "space pillow", the patient's "cervical curve" is still straight.
So it should be said that memory foam pillows (space pillows) are of no benefit to the prevention and treatment of cervical spondylosis.
Sometimes, when customers describe "very comfortable" to me, I can't help but ask: You are really comfortable, why does your cervical spine still "betray" you?
People's feelings are subjective and often deviate from objective facts. For example, I am a home girl and like loose and comfortable clothes, but this dress is not necessarily the most suitable for me. The truth is so simple, but because many people have deep-rooted traditional concepts deeply rooted in their hearts, they resist this view in their hearts, because admitting is to overthrow themselves!

 

Memory foam pillow
1. Human affinity and no allergy: latex protein can enter the human body through skin mucosa and inhalation, leading to the establishment of an anti-mite system and enhancing resistance; memory foam has been used for nearly 20 years, with more than 10,000 users, and no allergy reports. The polyurethane molecules of memory foam have been proven to have human affinity, and there is no conclusive data on whether it is toxic in China.
2. No volatile odor, no toxic side effects: In terms of raw materials, latex is safer than memory foam. One of the possible raw materials of memory foam, TDI (non-essential raw materials), is toxic, but TDI decomposes immediately when it comes into contact with air and water. When latex and memory foam are just made, they have some odors. In principle, these odors cannot be beneficial to the human body. Of course, there has been no report of human poisoning caused by these odors, and these odors gradually disappear over time and will never appear again. In this regard, both are safe.
3. Antibacterial and anti-moth effects: Both have similar effects. This performance allows users to avoid exposure to the sun for a long time and keep the pillow core clean.
4. Surface finish and adsorption capacity. Even though they are both molded, the surface finish of latex pillows is higher than that of memory foam. The surface of cut memory foam is even rougher and less beautiful than that of latex pillows. However, the dust adsorption capacity of memory foam is higher than that of latex. Memory foam is more likely to adsorb dust, making the surface look dirty and difficult to remove. The adsorption capacity of memory foam is comparable to that of bamboo charcoal. This is an advantage for pillows close to the mouth, nose, and respiratory tract because bamboo charcoal pillows are popular because of this.
5. Breathable and hygroscopic capacity: Both latex and memory foam are breathable and hygroscopic, and memory foam is better. Latex is mostly used for its impermeability to make membrane products such as gloves. To avoid the shortcomings of breathability and hygroscopicity, latex pillows need to be intensively punched to enhance the breathability and hygroscopicity; memory foam does not need to be punched regardless of molding or cutting process.
6. Elasticity: Latex is mainly characterized by excellent resilience (latex with good material will not deform or soften for 6-8 years), natural green, strong breathability, and will naturally degrade under the sun. Memory foam, on the contrary, is a material that slowly rebounds and stores energy. It is a chemical raw material (currently it has no health impact). It will burn and volatilize. After burning, it will release certain toxic gases such as carbon dioxide, water, and carbon monoxide.
7. Durability: Latex is better than memory foam, which can last for 8-10 years. Its good stretchability is not easy to tear; memory foam is easy to tear. Because it is very slow to recover its shape under pressure, people are very worried that it will not bounce back after a long time. However, memory foam of general quality can be used for 1-3 years without worry, which is enough as a pillow.
8. Heat preservation: Latex and memory foam have similar performances and are suitable for making pillows. They are neither cold nor hot. However, latex pillows are much more breathable.
9. Pillow shape: Latex and memory foam can be molded into any shape through molds. Memory foam can also be shaped by cutting and filling with shredded cotton. The shaping method of memory foam is a little more.
From the market point of view, latex pillows are more traditional in shape, and of course, there are already many new styles. Memory foam uses more ergonomic shapes for neck protection, and most of them are weird in shape.
